Product Inspection

Exceptions
In the unlikely event that a product is found to have a manufacturing defect upon purchase, Hisense Extra is committed to addressing the issue in accordance with Tanzanian consumer protection laws. While our standard policy does not accommodate refunds or exchanges, we recognize our obligations under the Fair Trade Practices Act, 1994. Specifically, Section 84(1) of the Act states that if goods supplied to a consumer have a defect rendering them unmerchantable, the supplier is liable to compensate the consumer for the loss or damage suffered.
Therefore, if a product purchased from Hisense Extra is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect that affects its merchantability, we will take the following steps:
